Unforeseen circumstances

As long as no unforeseen circumstances blows this goal out of the water, I’ll finish the first draft of my new contemporary romance next month.
If you read my May blog these words may sound familiar.

The unforeseen did happen this month which knocked me sideways.
First draft deadline
The ripple effects of the unforeseen nearly broke me and if I hadn't doggedly pushed through and got down those last words and typed the end on Thursday 26th June, I wouldn't be glowing in the glory of meeting my self-imposed deadline and a completed first draft that I'm pretty thrilled with.
The Secret Life of a Migraineur
And while I'm celebrating the highlights of June. Seeing my article The Secret Life of a Migraineur published in the RWAus June Hearts Talk magazine was a thrill. I wrote it to raise awareness about migraine disease, the challenges of writing with migraine and the inspiration for my short story Aura which will be published in the Diversions Anthology 2025.
Thank you to everyone who has contacted me about my article with such kind words and positive feedback. It means so much to me!
